This 3-hour course meets requirements toward the recertification program required for subject code(s) RCFE 05- Community & Support Services, ARF 10 Nonviolent Emergency Intervention & Reporting. Loss of life to suicide is of great concern within the adult and senior care communities. The goal of this two-hour suicide awareness and prevention education is to help you recognize and understand suicide risk, protective factors, and how to help and effectively intervene. The discussion will assist participants in what they can do to help prevent suicide in their clients.
