9:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Resident Rights – This four hour course meets requirements toward the 80 hour recertification program required for board and care operators. Presenters will discuss the Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly Act and regulation of RCFE by the State Department of Social Services. Just as we all are guaranteed certain freedom and rights under federal and state laws, residents in residential care facilities for the elderly are guaranteed additional rights because of physical or cognitive limitations.
