The Backstory – Understanding Your New Resident

This 2-hour course with help administrators and caregivers have a clearer understanding of what a new resident has experienced prior to moving into their new assisted living or adult residential home. Instructor will discuss the different scenarios of common family dynamics and emotions that are happening during the search for a new home, along with common events that have caused the resident to require a more supportive environment. Approved by DSS for 2 continuing education units.
