Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a type of movement disorder. It happens when nerve cells in the brain do not produce enough of a brain chemical called dopamine. Sometimes it is genetic, but most cases do not seem to run in families. Exposure to chemicals in the environment might play a role. ARF & RCFE care providers caring for someone with PD can run into some challenges, especially as the disease progresses. This 4-hour CEU will assist ARF & RCFE administrators in navigating care via an in-depth understanding of the disease.

The key is not to fear or try to avoid conflict in the workplace but to learn how to resolve it in a healthy way.  During this 3-hour ARF & RCFE CEU course, the instructor(s) will review the various aspects of conflict resolution and conduct group exercises to learn skills that can help ARF & RCFE CEU administrators and other caregiver team members resolve differences to build stronger and more rewarding workplace relationships.
