14- Cultural Competency

The purpose of this 2 hour course is to provide an overview and understanding of the culture of seniors who self-identify as LGBT. This course will focus on learning how to provide quality care to this group of individuals, focusing on creating a diverse, openly welcome, and empathic residential care community. At the end of the course, attendees will be equipped with the necessary skills to care for and support the needs of these individuals and their families.

Memory Care: The purpose of this 8 hour course is to provide an overview of the various types of memory impairments so care providers can deliver special emphasis on the management of the motor and non-motor symptoms caused by impairments and how to provide quality care to these individuals.

Only need one of the topics? You have that option! 

$85 for both topics, $20 for LGBT, $70 for Dementia Care
